Hi

Post by Alunkelly »

Hello everyone, picked up my vtr yesterday, rode 120 miles back from the south coast back to the Midlands in torrential rain and gales. What a re-introduction to motorcycling!! the last time was 20 years ago on a zzr 600. Couldn't get over the amazing amount of power at low revs , even the conditions couldn't wipe the grin off my face. Could hardly move this morning but had to sneak out for another hour once I'd loosened up. Anyway that's enough for now, as soon as I've worked out the photo thingy I'll upload some pictures.

Welcome to the club mate. Has the bike had the CCT's & R/R upgrades to make it bulletproof?

So, headed out of the Sarf badlands as quick as, once you'd dropped off the dosh?
Probably for the best.

welcome to the club, where in the midlands are you based?

have a look at the workshop day thread, that will be a good way to get the fast track on the best mods for these bikes and meet up with a few locals

I'm from Evesham , I'm gonna look into whether the mods have been carried out having read the posts on here, starting to get a bit concerned about the timing chain tensioner!!!!
