Hmm that or an SP2? Do love the big V's. The storm has converted me :-)

hmmm...well that's as close as i'm gonna get for a while...some how don't think the bike shop will let me take one for a test ride huff

Read an article on Ebay in MCN (approx 3 weeks ago).
It said E Bay was not the best place to buy bikes.
Not that cheap,
cant see what youre getting,
could be a scam,,,

which can also be true getting it from private sale of course.

Dunno about you lot but once I get close the the 3k stage I start thinking the exra £500 on show room prices is worth it for peace of mind.

Yeh i know what you mean. I've bought a bike from Ebay and have been really quite lucky was as mint as they said, but my dad has bought a few and i think 3/4 had problems which the sellers didn't mention and he didn't find out until he got the bike home.

Suppose depends on how lucky you are and make sure you stick to paying in cash, after going down to looking at it. If it's not exactly what the ad says walk away. Same as with buying a used bike from bike trader

ive bought 2 off ebay ,with not a problem ,go in the day time to have a look ,if you dont see what you like just walk away so what ,especially if you are spending a quite of bit of money :wink:
