its called super competative but i bet it chaffes a bit after a few miles and i bet the wife dosent let them pack in the house for a while :Chair Hit:

Yesterday after work I backed the preload all the way back to the 2nd notch, it was on the 5th or around there, far too hard...
I also backed the rebound off on the front forks a bit as it was wound all the way in :crazy:

Anyway after a short blast down a fairly bumpy local backroad its much improved, but the front (preload was already all the way out, Ohlins fork internals) and rear are still too hard..

I'm 12 (and a bit) :problem: stone, tonight after work I'm going to put everything at its softest setting and try to get the rebound right, but I think I need some springier springs all round 8O

Cheers lads :) It hasn't really sunk in that I've finally changed my career, I'm hoping to be much happier during the week now.

Yeah... I'm not entirely a HUUUUGE Triathalon fan, but the bikes are the shops main business, so hopefully I won't have to handle too many pi55 soaked wet suits 8O

They have some serious kit in there too, along with a Bianchi with my name on it :)

congratulations Jamie, sounds like a cool job in a cool place.

push bikes are engineering porn these days......... carbon frames, Ti frames, electric gear change, aerodynamics...............only problem is mine has a crap engine

Wasn't there a pushbike pulled at a recent major event for having a suspected engine built into it?

Weird one this - as while the motor is capable of being well hidden, the battery pack, handelbar switch and noise would make it quite obvious.

Recived an e-bay bargain in the post...

Supprised there wasn't much bidding on them...Mind you they weren't listed as Gilles Rearsets just as VTR rearsets...

Carrier was Hermes...they did a fantastic job again... :roll: :Banned:

I was going to bid on them but then I remembered I already have rear sets .

Today I test fitted the torouno brake lines o got of ck ,no good way too looong .
Also tested the 1" rise clip on's and there too low .
Going to need 3" rise me thinks .
Oh and I tidied the garage a little .
Oh oh and unpacked my latest Mac package .

Saw those myself mate but getting different rear sets already.
He also had a decent shock going. Perhaps someone on here benefited?
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.
