5 or 6 Gears ?

Post by Dave H »

Hi
Can anyone tell me please when the Storm went from 5 gears to 6 and what is the main difference (apart from being a gear less) and anything else regarding performance over the two boxes
Thanks again

It's always had 6. Have you lost one?

I was just wondering that.
To be honest, I've never even counted them. :)

6 gears although 6th is pointless. will be dropping a tooth on the front next week to see if it makes much difference

Exactly. And what's sad is, I keep doing that !

Age maybe? I dunno, just too busy smiling when I'm riding.

I've got a +3 teeth rear sprocket and NEVER have this problem
In fact I keep trying to find another gear!

XXX, you'll love the smaller front sprocket, it picks up off the throttle in 2nd and clutches up in 3rd.
Feels like another 15bhp 8O

just ordered a chain and sprockets from M&P, cost just under £100 all in which was a bargain i thought. only dropped 1 tooth on the front for now so well see how it goes
