MCCT'S, ANYONE IN HAMPSHIRE DO THESE?
Hi all. I live in Hampshire, Hayling Island. Does anyone know who can fit these mcct's for me? I already have a pair. I do electronics, not mechanics lol. Thanks in advance.

Islandstorm you are able to do them yourself. I managed it and I am a total novice.
The guide is great and people on here can help even more.
Would save you the journey and the money as well as give you some great experience.

Hi M8tey...for me ..the key... is...... lining up the timing marks on the crankcase inspection cover .. then the
rotation 1 and 1/4 turns as previously stated as per Cybercarls forum posting .. Also watch out for dropping any small
nuts washers down below .. they may not be recoverable.. so have some rags to cover vulnerable
open /spaces is a good idea.... make sure you have a quality thread lock mixture liberally applied
on the Manual CCT threads and follow Cybercarls info you should have no difficulty .. about 2
hours from start to finish with a few brews on the go .. best of luck. Well I did mine with a pal but
sadly I am too far away from you .... take the bull by the horns and go for it..

Re: MCCT'S, ANYONE IN HAMPSHIRE DO THESE?
I had never done any engine work at all,but i managed to fit my mcct's but it took me all day.I followed the instructions on this forum to the letter and it really wasn't all that difficult. As long as you MANUALLY turn the engine over when your are done and DON'T turn it over on the starter not a lot can go wrong. If engine turns over freely (MANUALLY) all should be good to go.Good luck with it anyway.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN
Re: MCCT'S, ANYONE IN HAMPSHIRE DO THESE?
Take 2 Motorcycles, Nursling, Soton, did a good job fitting them to BTT's mates bike
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
