just saw this on ebay. personally I really like the 50th bikes, but most if not all of us know that they weren't really anything more than throwing some goodies at a standard bike, and all these goodies were available to buy(except for maybe the decals, but even they could be reproduced) so back to this advert on the bay of evil
looking the other way at the chavvy exhaust engraving. would you pay close to what he's asking. a mint sub 10k late model bike can be had for under 3k.
anyways here's the advert
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-VTR1000 ... 6016.l4276
for what it's worth, I wouldn't pay more than £2300.
one last thing, having been keeping a close eye on ebay regarding what sellers are asking for there bikes, and it's is starting to get a bit silly, you used to be able to pick up a nice clean sub 20k bike for around 1500, they don't seem to be about atm, maybe this is why the seller of the 50th has priced his bike accordingly,

It's nice but I wouldn't pay that for it,was looking at one last year with 32000mls for £2.5 and thought that was a bit steep,I do like the anniversary model tho

Does look a bit expensive, but I noticed that all the older bikes are starting to creep up in value...good when you're selling, bad when you're buying....
Twist it 'til it breaks, then back off half a turn....
