Help - Left side engine mount and vibes, man.

Post by chrisk992003 »

I need to remove the right hand engine mount nut thing. It's a threaded ring with slots, a bit like a rear preload adjuster. I need to get it off to fit a crash bung - the lealet says a groove spanner or a aluminium thorn(?). I guess Honda do one but it'll be expensive. Details of what and where appreciated.

Vibes - I'm new to the firestome and after about 1/2 hr my right hand is numb, any cures or do you get used to it ?

You won't get used to it but it only happens on straight runs. USA site suggests GEL grips. Anyone out there tried? :?: :?

I'm also new to the firestorm, found the same problem with my right hand going numb, just need to relax a bit, losen the grip and it goes away. Any advice on the crash bungs would be usefull as well

ride happy

Hi Pipstorm,I put Motrax Top Block crash protecters on my Storm. Cost about £80 but well worth it! Didn't have to cut fairing either.

Numb hands! That be carpultunnel syndrome (trapped nerve in wrist or behind thumb) I've had it years, there is an opp for it but its 6 weeks of no riding afterwards. F@$# That.
