Open the item on ebay, go up to the web address eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-VTR1000 ... SwL7VWlSzo

Right click with the mouse to highlight it and then click copy from the drop down menu that appears

Go back to your post and right click mouse, choose paste option from the dropdown and there it is......

The long one right across the top of the page.....(on ebay, the clue being the bit that starts with http://www.ebay.co.uk/----------------- )

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AFAM-Motorcyc ... Swd0BV3sYP

Follow the above link and when it opens look up at the top and you will see it.......

Depends on your browser and view settings but generally should be at about eye-level at the top of the window

If you're feeling proper brave you can do it without the mouse or even looking what you're doing

Ctrl + L (or Cmd + L if using something made by that fruit company) will highlight the URL/URI.

Ctrl + C (or Cmd + C) will copy it.

Select the area you want to put the URL/URI, you have to use the mouse here unless you want to tab through the page or use keyboard shortcuts for changing tab/window.. Usually not worth it though

Then Ctrl +V (Or Cmd + V, seeing a pattern? Bloody Apple ) to paste it.
