Have a good one all, wish I could be there but family calls. Have been to Grain to see Mac previously and Grain is just like Royston Vasey. I'd still risk it for a bacon sarnie if it were'nt for the wife's family - anyone using a handlebar mounted Geigercounter on the way in?
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

I was born in Northfleet, brung up in Gravesend. Shame I can't be there. Grain used to be flat fields dotted with horses and a lovely view of the power station. A bit like a down market version of Canvey Island over the water or a larger version of Rat Island. My ex wife and cousin used to get dolled up in fur coats and pop down in an open top Merc to do dodgy deals with the less reputable members of society who lived there. Ahhh, happy days.

Have a good one lads!

Eh ? ''lovely view of the power station.'' Is there such a thing ?

Currently in the process of being demolished, as is Kingsnorth...The Grain Stack should be coming down this year

Haha i Remember that Farah Fawcett pic in the pink Swimsuit with nipples pointing out. If only they had laminaters in those days. Do you also remember Vanya, she was married to that Berk who does the extreme fishing. I also remember Rita Pennington. Gillian Duxbury etc. I was a paper boy and saw the girls everyday. Ahh such memories.
