anyway i have toured on it (2500 miles via the nurburgring last year) i'm just hacked off with the web of straps and bungee cords needed to hold on soft luggage plus soft luggage and a girlfriend really don't mix.
I've got oxford bags and they look like they would cover the pillion pegs when fitted and if i move them further back, the big indicators get in the way.
If anyone else has came accross this, feel free to chip in.

the best photo of the luggage i have is on my phone so its pretty blurry anyway.
yes i had (until all the straps broke and it dropped onto my exhausts melting a big hole in them) a set of frank thomas panniers and like you say they either sit back a long way and obscure the rear indicators (and still don't really clear the pegs) or they sit a long way forward over the pegs. plus the amount of strapping they need really rules out a pillion anyway. i don't think i've ever seen a set of soft panniers that don't need a similer amount of tieing down.

I got some oxford first time panniers the other day and they fit realy well not interfearing with the pillion pegs or exhausts .
Filled them up with stuff and put a bag on my backrack and went out to try it and to be honest it made the front end feel quite vage .
Me thinks more preload on the rear so ill give it another go soon , plus i have changed my tires today so that might make a difference.

GIVI does make some stuff that fits Storm, and here is a proof:

It's a top case rack.
Now, if you remember Givi modular system - it is very easy to complete set as long as you have top case rack. With few adaptor plates and minimum of welding work you can build up to full config with Givi side bags.
