If it's broken; should it move? Yes: Use WD40 No: Use cable ties. Now it's fixed!
Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
My headlight arrived today
it's a bit plastic-ey but I'll paint it up and it'll be all good! It's a tripple L.E.D unit so should give out some good light too.

Had a chance to do a very quick mock up, the headlight's in the wrong place but you get the idea.

Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
Now you have me thinking.... Wonder if you can get a black chrome mirror finish on ali fork legs?
Not the stanchions, the fixed bit.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
Hello Tony, I was intending to go that way withit to start with. The only way I could think of was the stuff the rude boys use to tint their rear lights. I gave it a go on a spanner but didn't like the look of it too much. It could work better on a polished surface I suppose.....

My oil cooler was shot to pieces, actually bent in two places.... So nice shiny new one.

Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
Still loving the finish on your frame. Really do fancy going the same or a similar route with my frame if/when I get around to sorting my bike out.
Keep up the good work.. looking forward to seeing the end result![Thumbup ](./images/smilies/icon_thumbup.gif)

Re: VTR Cafe Fighter Project
What's with all this progress malarkey, we're not used to seeing bikes develop like this. I expect to see vast purchases of bits and some planning then, ehhh, nothing much really!
