Aaargh! It took me hours to work out how to get the day1 route into my satnav. Basecamp, along with the laptop nearly went out through the window many times. Now I have to do it again! And I can't remember how.... Bleeding technology.

Ian,
the "plot a route" method should export in a format that you can save direct into the garmin satnav memory

if you download the linked file as a GPX it should be able to import into the Garmin

Not straight forward. Download as waypoints, not a route. Copy the list of waypoints into Basecamp. Click on the "track" at the bottom of the list of waypoints and turn it into a route (which recalculates it). Copy it into internal memory. Discconnect gps. Turn on gps and it recognises a new track which you then recalculate and mark it as a route and it shows up in "Trip Planner".

Got it sorted now.

If you download it as a route it doesn't work.

Don't think tractor boy is coming. A surprise birthday present for her indoors has screwed things up.
If we are doing the Saturday route through dumfries can we swing in past my ex sister in laws please? My thugs are staying there over the weekend. Might prove that you lot actually exist.
And NO ady, I wouldn't!
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

I do not know what you are inferring young Stuart, I can only presume it is something of a deviant sexual nature , which would of course be quite correct .
