That's good news and a good price. I shall be taking mine there then when the time comes. Did they do it while you waited or did you have to go and have a cup of coffee and bacon sarnie somewhere. They had to put the advisory on to cover their backs in case you got tug on the way home after leaving there.agentpineapple wrote:Mot passed this morning. for the princely sum of £29.76
took the bike to a scooter dealership just south of tower bridge. the guys in there loved the bike. and tbh they didn't really go over the bike. but the fecker did put a noisy exhaust as an advisory, even tho the same guy last year with the same exhaust didn't put an advisory.....![]()

whilst you wait, they didn't seem to do much, most of the time was spent helping a pretty lady who arrived on her scooter in a tiny pair of sorts and a t-shirt and not much else....cybercarl wrote:That's good news and a good price. Do they speak English.
I have the day off tomorrow so if it's not raining I might put the fairing back on my bike. I may even wash it but it would probably rain knowing my luck.

Spent the morn doing bits n bobs on Dresden it now has a Mossfet R/R.
Vanstub came round & in between talking total boll acks, not just talking boll acks here with Steve, we exchanged bar ends ( fner, fner, snigger ha ha..)
Gold bing ones on Dresden are now on Steves Blackie, then we set to setting up suspension on Nue Red & Blackie with some success...
Tidy up inside for a cuppa & a smoke to watch the Moto GP...Bloody sky recording cut off half way through the last lap...delays to the race ment the program overun the set prog time in the box...I think I know who one though...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Made the Garmin transferrable between bikes. Fitted a waterproof connector into the power line to the mount on the Storm.

The installed a 12v to 5v DC converter on the KTM and corresponding waterproof connectors.
Now I can swap the Garmin between bikes by loosening the RAM mount and plugging it into what bike it's needed on. Made up some blind connectors as well to terminate the leads when not in use.
