Interestingly had a go on a CB1000R. The un-faired model. What a lovely bike. Felt like a mini-bike sitting on top of it. Smooth torquey engine with plenty of top end, decent enough suspension. But.... over a certain speed (private roads only) it was impossible. Not enough room to tuck in. Arms and head in the breeze. A couple of miles and you felt as if you'd been a boxing ring. They need to put a fairing on it......

Ha ha they did but an ugly fecker. I had my Repsol one, but now got the CBF . to be honest the Brakes and Suspension on the CB1000r are great but i am not a lot slower on the CBF. I did about 360 mile today and really comfy.
