Had some of the springs supplied by Dave Greenwood which I hadn't fitted yet so I had my fingers crossed that only the cct was knackered...but no I wasn't that lucky. After sorting the timing I fired her up and only had one pot working.
Took the head off and both inlet valves are knacked and the exhaust ones look suspect too, at least the piston is unmarked. Gonna remove the valves tomorrow.
Looks like its gonna cost a bit, 18 quid each for inlet valves, 30 quid each for exhaust valves, 15 quid for a head gasket to start with on top of a cct. Think it might be a good time to change the front cct too.
I'm now officially been put on "suicide watch" from everyone at work too
