I need to get a stand to do an oil change etc...

Abba stands are not a great investment for the storm coz you can't remove the swingarm, chain, shock, linkages etc with it fitted coz it picks the bike up on the swingarm pivot bolt

But if its setup to pick the bike up using the swing-arm pivot bolt I still don't see how an adapter is gonna allow you to be able to use it to remove the swing-arm
If you want a stand to be able to do cleaning, remove wheels etc then yes
If you want to be able to remove and strip the forks, headstock, rear shock, linkages etc then no
I've got a similar set for trackdays and everyday use coz a rear stand in particular is SOOO quick and easy to use

I'd definitely recommend stripping the rear shock linkage and actually putting some grease in it nice and early
If you wait til it starts squeaking its gonna cost money and time to remove and replace the knackered bearings!! (mind you most seem to go around the 20k mark so you've got a way to go yet!)
