No no no!! :?
Abba stands are not a great investment for the storm coz you can't remove the swingarm, chain, shock, linkages etc with it fitted coz it picks the bike up on the swingarm pivot bolt

See the other thread in workshop about stands, I'm in the process of putting enough details to enable you to make on for peanuts

If its just a simple paddock stand you require then PaddockStandSteve is your man. He runs http://www.paddockstand.co.uk and is a forum member

Ker-ching!!
The stand itself is £98
The adapter set is another £110 8O

But if its setup to pick the bike up using the swing-arm pivot bolt I still don't see how an adapter is gonna allow you to be able to use it to remove the swing-arm

If you want a stand to be able to do cleaning, remove wheels etc then yes
If you want to be able to remove and strip the forks, headstock, rear shock, linkages etc then no
I've got a similar set for trackdays and everyday use coz a rear stand in particular is SOOO quick and easy to use

cheers Ben

yeah, it'll just be for general stuff, nothing major like stripping of parts... I'll whimp out of the timely stuff and pay to have it done. The bikes only done 5.7K so I'm hopeful that it'll be a while before it needs stripping.

Errr -don't believe it

I'd definitely recommend stripping the rear shock linkage and actually putting some grease in it nice and early
If you wait til it starts squeaking its gonna cost money and time to remove and replace the knackered bearings!! (mind you most seem to go around the 20k mark so you've got a way to go yet!)
