I have the harris ones fitted to mine,
but i believe moko and Rgs also do them,
i think these are most likley the most popular ones available

Double hard mushrooms/crashbungs whatever you wanna call em do these at 40 pound i had some fitted last year no need to alter fairings like you do with some.

But i took them off as i didnt like how they stuck out !

I know thats the whole point of them but thats just me i think moko are one of the best but at a price i think you do alter the fairing with these i may be wrong though.

Double hard mushrooms here.

Fitting was a pig though, They require a couple of engine mount bolts to be replaced. No problem there, except one of the hollow Honda ones sheered off , flush to the casing. Some swearing and time got it out though.

Still. Bungs on, look a bit like skateboard trainer wheels sticking out, but hey.. they saved me money when my foot slid out on a soaking a greasy garage forecourt.

Oh, they're black and yellow too, so match the bike

Looked into getting a set of crash bungs a few weeks ago but lost interest as the only ones i could find were the one that required the faring to be drilled.

Exactly what put me off some other brands.

These fit with no mods, just by swapping 2 engine mount bolts.

Baz i know a shop now as i type this has them in stock 40 quid for the storm

Another consideration is how tall are you?

I'm 6'3" but don't have particularly long legs yet when I rode my mates Storm with DHM/ Motrax ones fitted I kept clouting my knees as I moved around on the bike

I got some from Rhencullen which mount a bit further forward and don't required the fairing to be drilled either. Mind you they are in the Â£90 price bracket so that too may be a consideration

Im sure they are great but where would you fit them? the storm has no bobbin threads on the swingarm

The bobbins that ad talks about are the little ones that go on the swingarm to make lining the stand up easier -they are NOT the crash bungs being talked about

You can fit bobbins to the storm if you are prepared to either
1) Get a mount welded to the underside of the swingarm
or
2) Drill and tap a hole in the arm of the swingarm

Had the same thing happen to me with the same bungs fitted and they did bugger all. I was just moving off and sliped and the bike dropped, the bracket where it bolts to the frame was totally bent and a nasty crack down my fairing.
