Not sure I've seen this before. If it's already been seen it's worth another watch anyway

I'd not seen it - great video and love this "V4, 1200, banging out north of 200 horse" I love it, although at £28k (+VAT) I'll drool

...the classic underdog British spirit....taking on the BMW and the likes of the Japanese...??

Whilst it does look a bit nice....at £28,000 they don't have a hope in Nelly of taking on the Japs or Germans for a road bike - A race bike, maybe, but can you honestly see this selling as a road bike?

Yes, alright, the millionaires and oil rig workers will be able to buy one with the loose change in their back pocket, but Norton are way off the mark for catering to the everyday British public bike riders. I don't care what technology is used, or how fancy the frame is, they can never justify their prices for a road bike, and even if I won the lottery with millions in the bank, I'd never buy one.

If Stuart Garner called me tomorrow and offered a road test for this new V4, I'd turn him down with a straight face.
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

Well, if there was one available up here for a demonstrator or display machine, yes, it'd be interesting to go have a look to see what's so special, and where they can justify the 28 grand price tag.

But honestly, if I won the lottery, there are many other bikes I would buy first....in fact, I could buy 2 fairly high spec bikes and still have about 3 grand change!

I'm not arsed about flying a British flag when it comes to motoring. I want reliability, fuel efficency, good looks and a resonable price for the package there-in.

And Norton doesn't do it for me. I know 2 people that own the Norton 961 Cafe Racer. Lovely looking machine....but not reliable, and they're still fetching anything from 14 grand upwards! Silly money if you ask me.

Hey-Ho - Horses for Courses n' all that...

GOOD GOD! :wtf:

I think only 2 numbers out of that £138k should be on the price tag: The 1 and the 3. 13 grand tops. Ok, add the other number 8, to make it £13,800.

(yeah, I'm getting cheap and cynical in me old age)

I shall email Mr. Honda and ask if he'll accept that more than generous offer.

And who the heck would buy such a thing? At 138 grand, you'd be terrified to even take the dust sheet off, let alone take it out of the garage and ride it to TESCO.

Sorry, I means M&S or Sainsburys. No one that buys that will choose to shop at TESCO....

And you have to laugh at the review of the Honda RC213v-s: ''...a MotoGP bike with lights and as close to the real thing as is practical and affordable.''

Practicle and AFFORDABLE??

The Panigale is a bit cheaper but I wouldn't have one

If money was no object I'd still rather pay the extra and go for the Norton
