steaming pile of poo
i've seen some ropy storms on ebay, but this one id right up there, and the seller thinks it's worth a grand....
oil leak from the exhaust headers cover up with some sort of metal weld. so in the past there's been a snapped exhaust stud, and when drilling the old stud out, they went to far and drilled into the head ffs. that's not going to be an easy fix, not to mention the rest of the bike.
i'm sorry if it's a members bike, but buyer beware, this ones a steaming pile of poo

Re: steaming pile of poo
I saw that a few days and immediately saw it as described by you...
2001 bike.
Here are two MOTs
So it used to have 66k miles....
Worth breaking and that's it.

Hi, after doing a couple of checks the mileage is coming up as 66 thousand. I'm assuming then that the clocks have been changed?
What's your best price on this as I would make an offer but wouldn't want to offend.
My question is last and his reply is first as its a chain conversation. I just simply replied OK glws lol

This could be a little game. I also got a reply from him which was similar. I'll post it later as phone is dying! He wasn't happy with me either Paul!

Re: steaming pile of poo
He is a very rude man that seller, I messaged him offering him some advice and he basically told me I'm a wonker!! Sadly the bike sold for 850 to someone who 'knew' his vtrs.. I hope no one here got mugged off or I hope the bike isn't as bad as it looked...
Re: steaming pile of poo
i was going to offer him 700 for it but am so glad i didn't go and waste my time
