nobody said old blokes are slow!!!!!!! :D ........ its just funny when we take our helmets off and people realise that the ones riding like big kids all have grey hair [or no hair].

and talk them into joining the Scotland trip ...... if they come with your approval they are OK with me

Now that's a sight for sore eyes, what a beauty.
An old RM rode past me while i was out walking the dog tonight and i stood there sniffing the fumes, took me back a bit.

Charged the battery overnight, started her up no problem, air in tyres, oil on chain, all lights and indicators working, brand new tyres awaiting a good scrubbing.
mot tomorrow morning.

Now where's my helmet?

Not the most delicate of questions.

KR1 hadnt turned a wheel in 6 months and I hadnt laid a spanner on it but she fired up 3rd kick, for me no better riding experience on these roads on the 250s , headed over to OyB for a cuppa with my mate on his gorgeous RGV, what a great day to be out and about.

She flew through the mot no problems.
Had my first ride since October on a glorious day, scrubbed the tyres in a bit and getting used to the progressive springs, they make the bike feel planted if that makes sense?
I'm looking forward to the North Yorkshire meet, hope we have weather like today.

i must either be getting slower in my old age, or i'm getting fatter, according to strava, my top speed today was 119.3 mph..... :(
I must try harder....
I had a fun 200+ mile ride out today, loads of bikers out, everyone waved which was nice. I did have one brown pants moment, braking for a downhill left hander, I managed to rock up a downshift and hit a false neutral, followed by the locking up of brakes, and finally managing to make the corner... :eek2
many deep breaths later it was back on the gas....
many bugs were sacrificed for my enjoyment....

Marty, sounds like the ditches are calling you again!!!!!!! be careful.

Me... I went out for 10 miles on the little Kawasaki KH125 to see if the jetting was OK now........ not perfect, but better than before... But still not taken the Storm out for a ride this year 8O.

I could hear the bikes blasting out past the end of my lane from about 6am heading to Wales, and all the way till 7pm as they were coming home, but it didn't make we want to go join them! I was just thinking that the sunshine would bring too many knobs out onto the roads [sunday family drivers and the spring bikers who are not yet back up to the skill level they had at the end of last yr], and cops waiting to catch them speeding, and decided not to join in :(
