Well, how lovely. I may turn up after all.AMCQ46 wrote:both of those available tootony.mon wrote:Thanks gents, now all we need is a bike lift table.

Bugger, I'll have to scrape the Grain rain muck off it now.
BTW, I had a word with Gabi earlier; he wants a fork oil change and check that he actually has Ohlins springs, (or whether the po merely bought the sticker), and a valve clearance check. I'll bring the verniers and shim set, also carb balance stuff.
I explained to him that he would be doing the work....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I have pm'd most of you with the postcode and mobile number, if I have forgotten anybody then please shout.
If you are new to the forum and are not sure if you should come along as you don't know anybody.... Wrong...This is perfect for for you to help you get to know your bike and also to start to put some faces to the names.

Re: Worcestershire Workshop day - May 13th
reminder for what you need to bring with you:
if you need jobs doing on your bike, please bring the parts you will need fitting
for example:
you have to bring - bearings / forkoil / Manual CCTs / oil filters / engine oil / air filters / spark plugs / brake pads etc.
but you don't need to bring - general workshop consumables like grease, WD40, a top up of brake fluid [not a full flush through], metal for stopper mods, cable ties, spare nuts & bolts ....... and I think Tony is bringing the shim kit.... etc.
All tools are available in my garage, but to save there being a wait for the basics, it will be a smart idea to bring your own Allen key set and your 8mm, 10mm & 14mm sockets or spanners plus screwdrivers. but don't worry if you cant, I have at least 2 of everything!
please remember to try an undo the alternator cover inspection screws before you get here so we don't lose time if they are jammed.
also please don't fill the tank up just before you get here, 16l of petrol weighs 16kg and with it sloshing about it makes removing the tank much more difficult and risks you chipping the paint!
any local guys it might be good if you can bring a paddock stand, I have 1 front, 1 rear, a front wheel chock and an ABBA stand........ so 1 or 2 more would be great.
PeteL can you remember to bring the ABBA stand fittings for the SP2.
if you are coming as a helper or for social, just bring your what you want
there will be bacon baps in the morning and a barby for lunch, so if you are veggie you might want to bring your own special things to cook, plus endless tea & coffee available.
if we get done early enough we will go for a quick ride out too
