Will you be completing the journey on the mobile block of flats or will you be abandoning it around Watford Gap and completing the journey in a small Japanese car? Will the biscuits be stale by the time you get there?bigtwinthing wrote:Bikes fixed!!! biscuits loaded up ready.

My intension will be to complete a Trip 100% on the "Block of Flats" I've done 1211 trouble free miles, but only 61 in another land. I hope it makes it to Birmingham. My mate may be coming on his Storm, Ive offered to stay on Tarmac and slow down so he can keep up. uh hum uh humKev L wrote:Will you be completing the journey on the mobile block of flats or will you be abandoning it around Watford Gap and completing the journey in a small Japanese car? ( I will say when the bike looks dirty it does look shite) washes up well though and no chicken strips.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I can put a headstock stand and front and rear paddock stands in my car as well, if you like?AMCQ46 wrote:Richard has stepped in with the extra paddock stands, and will drop them off in his car mid week.... so no need for anybody to ride over with a paddock stand strapped to their back

Warwick services just before turning off m40 I think. Better check thoughbigtwinthing wrote:tony.mon wrote:I'll be heading up Sat AM.
But staying over with relatives and coming back Sunday sometime.
I'll be heading from Clacketts Lane services at 07.30 round the south side of the M25 and up the M40 if that's of any use?
is there services after the Oxford part of the M40. I will shout you a Breakfast Tony if your up for it. You can take some bits off the Tiger to lighten it? you will need a skip though theres lots to take off that aint needed.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

Re: Worcestershire Workshop day - May 13th
count down begins... I will fly back to UK tonight so will land in london at 7am tomorrow.... should be able to start sorting out the garage Friday evening.
weather looks good with almost no chance of rain
bacon, burgers and sausages on order
based on my quick look through all the posts and PMs I think we have a turnout of 10 with at least 3 needing to do work on their bikes. so should be a good ratio of helpers per bike.
Gabi - Valves and Fork rebuild / oil
Podman - stopper mod
tony.mon - rear suspension linkage
ukbiker - ?

Richard
Steve97 with Jack and 1 newbie - arriving late
Kev64
threatened possible visit by Lloydie, but I haven't given him my address
mild possibility of cheekyKev
see you all Saturday. plan to start at 9, but I know Gabi wanted to arrive a bit early to get a head start on stripping his bike down, so as long as its not before 8 you will be fine.
remember if you are doing work on the bike that involves taking off the tank....try and keep the tank as empty as possible when you get here, makes life much easier when removing and refitting

I'll also be replacing front and rear wheel spacers with lightweight captive ones and fitting a new clutch pack into the slipper clutch.
Have you got a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar and large torque wrench?
Might as well get a couple of little jobs out of the way.

Yes I'm on the bike.
I was just saying that I could put stands in my car.
It's not much help, as I won't be in the car, but I like to join in.
Pls bring the abba bits.
