Yardley Hastings 2 stroke meet - pics

Some pics from today..

My Dad did around 45 miles on his Bantam to get to mine and during that time it shed 2 engine mounting bolts and nigh on dropped the exhaust off the bike as well so it needed some TLC before we left for the meet.

Beautiful machines :D . That is the first X1 I've seen since I had mine 35 years ago 8O , hunted high and low at classic bike shows over the years! Would dearly like another!!

I thought the same mate and so the owner told me, this one started as a £50 box it bits, most of the parts for the X1 are still available, even the exhaust was available new, quite incredible and fair play to Suzuki & their Vintage Parts scheme.

Fantastic 8) thanks for sharing your photos with us, brilliant to see such machines again, plus a few I haven't :D
The 4 cylinder Bantam has to be the one of great interest to me :thumbup: Now why didn't I do that with one of mine :lol:
