Hagon Rear Shock
Anyone fitted a Hargon rear shock and if so, any good? They seem to be the cheapest replacement but don't want to do it if it's lasts 5 minuites or doesn't show significant improvements

Some one on the MCN web site fitted a Hagon shock. Think they had some problem with it, but cant remember what. Hagon sent the replacement though.
Other shock mentioned on MCN was a dutch made shock, tech"something". I looked at one, since it was around £290ish, but needed a rebuild every 2 years to keep it going.
After much research and speaking to Roger @ Revolution, i got a Penske.

I have Hagon Shock on my Storm. I can't say if it's better that the original 'cos I bought it with the Hagon unit on. However, I have no complaints about the handling. Bloke who had it before me had the forks fited with Hagon progressive springs too and they are a bit lower in the yokes which all adds up to nice quick steering and solid handling round the twisties.
Had it round Castle Coombe the other week and, although I'm no hero, it was planted. Everyone was complaining about front end slappers over the bumps, but the Storm just sailed through without any problems. Either the suspension has been sorted or I was goin too slow!
