VFR Mirror's on Firestorm

Post by Buggs »

Is it possible to fit miror's from a VFR onto the Firestorm. Believe i saw on another topic that the larger VFR mirror's would fit straight on as a direct replacement. If this is true does any body know which model VFR mirror's are needed?????

There are extenders you can buy which lengthen the storks so you actually see more than your elbows. There were several threads on here last year about them! A few people have fitted them with great results.

I am using the extenders (by GenMar) and they work extremely well, allowing me to see more than just my shoulders. In truth, they are somewhat overpriced for what you get but having mirrors that are just for show is useless.

cheers

Yup, I've put R1 mirrors on mine, which have the added benefit of folding in, which is handy if your back gate is as narrow as mine.
