got to consider this late model bike a bargain in the current market, got a few nice extras, and some tat, good price tho and the sellers open to an offer, anything under 1400 is a great deal.

Can anyone explain to me why these sellers are trying to charge £106 for two steel bolts and two nuts?
You can get the same thing in Ti from them for only £96, which, although a complete rip-off, seems like a bargain compared to these.

But then, perhaps that's what they had in mind.......sneaky....

Don't buy them.

Motion-pro, is it. What's the other name for a motion? I can't quite remember.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Could be they have no stock left. I have seen the 3mm spacer thing that is normally 3.95 go up as high as 40! When I askee him out of curiosity he said he had no stock

Upping the price is a common tactic when stores run out of stock as I think it saves on listing fees, While on the price of bolts. What about the Japanese ones and not only bolts but most of their stuff is ridiculously expensive and that's before customs fees. :eek2

SP1 track project in bits. Probably less expensive than the average but work involved

You'd need yokes and a wheel, mudguard and calipers, mc and brake lines to fit them to a Storm, so budget for that lot.
They're out there, though, if you keep your eyes open.

As it happens I have a set of SP1 yolks. Currently on a promise to someone else though.

I spoke to Roger about fitting different forks and he reckoned an SP1 front end would be too stiff. Although I didn't ask him what he thought if the frame was stiffened too.

929/954 forks fit the SP1 yolks you, so I'm told.

Any 50mm yokes will do but ideally "gull wing" ones to hold the lower yoke below the headstock lower end.
Storm forks are a little longer than SP or 954 forks but it makes the bike turn better.
If you use a shock spacer you may want to fit a steering damper, but you won't want to pull the forks up through the yokes like you can with a Storm standard front end.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
