Ankle?! Bollox you mean...

Just as with any meeting organised online nowadays, theres always a resident guru present Martin , no poorly adjusted toogle chains allowed !... But I was assured a 3 speed sturmey archer hub could be stripped and completely rebuilt in 40 mins at the roadside if needs be...

Bloody Hell thats almost it!!! It has a Bill for the onlins of £2877. and has done 147 miles since they were fitted. I need to do the wheels first then post some pics, It had the belts done and the tyres replaced.

It looks like new apart from the wheels. I am considering white lol.

I don't even think that image is real. Looks like a Photoshop jobbie to me. There is a slight wall shadow around the rear wheel which is obvious but there is also marks on the shadow as if there is some badly smudged cloning gone on. More importantly how the heck is it mounted to the wall. No sign of any brackets or mounting bolts to hold such a big heavy item to the wall. The guy and the cat sitting there looks like a set up to create a talking point. Come on...it did come off the Internet.

 I was wondering how long it would be :)

Chris.
You mistake my motives, Chris. I have no need of turned parts at present.

I merely enquired as I know others might- a selfless gesture, (for once).

I'm still holding out for a metric lathe with a milling attachment for less than £300, in good nick, locally. I can part-exchange one of my large hammers.....
What a gentleman you are looking out for your brothers and sisters

Had a great blast earlier today over to a meet in Bedfordshire on the Storm and later this afternoon, I managed a few running in miles my freshly rebuilt and refinished 500 engine...Dead chuffed with the aesthetics and how it felt/performed compared to before.

Getting a job offer from a good company two miles from where I live, in the same salary as my present job an hours commute away in Clapham.
Plus a bonus if I do well.
Just waiting for confirmation of the start date.

That'll do......

Well done Tony. There's nothing worse than a long commute in the winter.

So we got an emailed "special invitation" to a new cocktail bar opening this evening near work- well, it is Clapham, lovey, pronounced "Clarm"...
Anyway, they had free booze, so along I went.

They had the usuals, a tripod clench on the beach, a gin escalope, rum pinky, etc, but they had one I liked, a Vodka Mockingbird.

It had half a salad in it, of course, and a miniature collection of Ikea's top ten sellers this week as decoration, including the dayglo deckchair, but the basic ingredients went well together, and it was quite more-ish.

They had a white rum version, a Barcadi Mockingbird, but my favourite was the Tequila variant.

Chin chin!
