One of the vacant places has now been taken by plumbob, so 3 places still left if anyone wants to come along.

Steve6088 informed me today that he will not be coming, so that now leaves 4 spare places for anyone who wants to join us.

Well all you Storm Troopers, this is it, time to pack and make tracks, the weather report looks like a mixed bag, unfortunately I think we might get wet at some point, we'll just have to hope the weather is kind to us.
I would just like to mention that some of the members who gave up their places have all said that if their place is taken up they're not interested in a refund, they are quite happy for the person who takes their place to make contribution to the lads for food / beer.
So if anyone has taken someone's place, in other words, got the Bunkhouse for free, I think it would be a nice gesture to think about bringing along some burgers, sausages, chicken fillets, baps, bread fingers, beer, or what ever you think fit to share among the lads for the BBQ

Drink my unused bunkhouse payment responsibly...Or not, just add it to the getting lashed fund...
Apparently there are some new signs going up around Wales just for this weekend...
Have fun Chaps...Ride safe & stay rubberside up (esp in the bunkhouse, no one wants to be under the rubber whilst in there...)

I popped in for the Friday night, didn't leave home until 3 as I was playing with brakes, and it needed a shakedown run, so I thought I'd head over.
It's not exactly on my way, but I needed to get to Warwick on Saturday.
Bunkhouse was warm and the barbie was fired up, all good.
I left before the boys headed out sat am, and although it had rained overnight it wasn't raining- just wet roads- as I left.
Hopefully it stayed dry for them, in the afternoon heading back from Warwick it chucked it down....

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

back safe and sound, bike still covered in grime so that will get a swill off later, many thanks to Kev for great organisation and planning a great route (which even the sometimes inclement weather couldn't spoil) also thanks to Stu for the cooking. all in all a great weekend in a great place with some great people (I've used the word great about five times in this short post but it just about sums up the weekend GREAT !! Roll-on next year.
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R ,

Well what can I say, what a great weekend, everyone seemed to enjoy it, I know I certainly did.
My bike as never been so dirty, don't worry, I cleaned as soon as I got back
I would just like to say thanks to everyone for turning up, also thanks for sticking to the marking system, that made life so much easier, especially with having such a large group of 16, it worked well, another thank you to the lead and tail riders, you did a grand job, thanks to Bazza for making sure the place was warm when we got back, thanks to the people that brought some food etc along, also thank you to grunpyfrog/Stuart (master-chief)for looking after us with his volunteered BBQ duties
All in all a great weekend with great people, and to be honest, a weekend away in a warm Bunkhouse including breakfast, beer and BBQ for £51 all in who can grumble ( Oh plus a few quid for the electric meter, which looked like it was trying to spin itself off the wall, I'm sure he was running the house off it too )
If you're all happy with the way I organised it then I'll be happy to do it again next year, I've already booked the Bunkhouse for next year, so keep an eye on the forum because I will be posting up soon with a 2018 request for names and payment, the guy needs a deposit before the new year, but in my opinion because of the low cost, I don't see the point in just paying a deposit, then having to go through all the pain of collecting the money again, we might as well just pay in full.
So until next time guys
