ok folks update time. accommodation ..we will be based in Portrush, about half a mile from the NW200 course. it was to be the halfway point on the saturday rideout, now its the starting point so just flip the run around.
Skerries caravan park, nice spot and iv stayed at it alot  . half a mile from portrush centre so plenty of good eating spots and bars for thoes that need to throw shapes on the dancefloor...

its about 55 miles north of Belfast for those coming by boat to Larne or Belfast. good easy roads all the way up and handy to find.. il be heading up at some point friday so if a few land on friday i can meet up at the docks but that can be arranged.

its a good family park, bikes will be safe, iv left mine loads of times but it has 24hr security and cctv coverage.

iv booked us a spot in a large static caravan, same one i stay in and food on site with showers etc..

now the cost.... zero... nada....its covered so you have no excuse not to come. boat and beer money and plenty of petrol stops and we are good to go.

get your name down so i have an idea of numbers.
myself and 4 or five ni stomers for whole weekend or part off so far.

if anybody wants to stay on to the monday not a problem . means another route could be used for a sunday blast aswell..

I am definitely in. Baby will be pretty young but should not be any issues and sounds like it will be a very enjoyable weekend. The accommodation is a fantastic gesture Rob

Me and cheekyads have been thinking of doing a trip over to Ireland for while but in the past something as always cropped up.
This time we're going to make every effort to do it, but we want to stop on through till the following Friday, how does this fit in ? and will we be able to get accommodation easily enough ?

count me in Fabio.

just looking at the ferry options and it is exactly the same journey time if I go via Holyhead to Dublin as it is if I go to Stranraer then ferry to Belfast. (9hrs)

but as I have done the M6 A75 so often I will be going the Holyhead route into Southern Ireland then ride up through Belfast to Portrush. Will plan to ride there friday and come back monday

using the fast ferry it will coat £100 return with early bird 25% discount. sailing from Holyhead at 11.30 on teh way out and return boat leaves Dublin at 2.15pm

I've looked at the ferry from Cairnryan to Belfast and Cairnryan to Larne, just waiting for Fabiostar to advise me on the best route.
I'm looking to go in the van with the bike in the back and will be booking very soon, travelling out on Friday morning 20th and returning the following Friday 27th, is anyone else planning on using this route, or have a better idea ?

Anyone using stenaline hold off on booking just yet. I believe I still get a 12.5 discount. Certain deals will over rule that but let me see what i can achieve on 2nd January. Anyone interested PM me your dates and times
