Post by TaxiDriver »

The bike came with a box of bits to put it back to clip ons etc;
In the box were these

The seller mumbled summat about a carb mod,so if these aren't the bike,what am I likely to find?.

Also what can I use to replace this burnt out heat shielding on the lower fairing,any thoughts most welcome.

Heat shield material is available on eBay - as to what’s in the air box - lift the tank and undo the screws of the lid to reveal all. Some folk put in two long or two short to emphasise top end / low down.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Having both the plastic inlets as spare makes you wonder whether you have Dr Honda ally ones, or even Mori’s!!!!
Fingers crossed.

If you find the stacks have Mori on them be prepared to have a tiny Irish fella hammering on your door before you get the tank back on!,

I'm going to guess the mod was to remove them altogether in an atempt to give more airflow or something silliy like that in which case you need to put them back on. In case your wondering the short one goes on the front. :thumbup: So our resisdent Leprechaun can stay nice and warm tucked up in bed. :lol:

I’m guessing someone forgot to fit them back on and couldn’t be arsed to lift the tank again !!
