Hey man, I recall you're running a 15-41 sprocket. I'm looking at some of these and might fit them along with a new chain (104 links? or 102?)

Did you have any speedo issues? My Haynes book gives the OE sprockets as 16-44, which dropping 1 at the front and 3 at the rear should be about the same performance wise)

Is the 15-41 any different to standard top speed / acceleration wise?

Also @ Paddockstand (or anyone else) how much can you do me a gold x-ring for?

16-41 is std gearing, if you go to kamware.com you can download a gearing calculator

should help, the std speedo reads crap its much easier to fit a sigma

Yep, your Haynes manual is obviously from the same batch that has cam cover bolts at 56NM!!
16/41 is standard gearing with a 102 link chain

15/41 will give you a 6.666% over-read on the speedo (16/15 -easy really ) ie speedo says 64, actual speed is 60
Dropping one tooth on the front or going up 2 on the rear will fit with a standard chain
Going up 3 on the back (equivalent to dropping one on the front) needs a 104 link chain and was my prefered option for a couple of reasons
i) smaller front sprocket gives the chain a harder time
ii) larger rear means you have to move the wheel forward which shortens the wheelbase and speeds up steering
iii) smaller front reduces the clearance between the chain and swing-arm, larger rear increases it
