Its cleaning up nicely
The Chinese, don't you just love em',spot the missing hole in the lever
Noticed this whilst removing the front end, what do you think, disc seems flat!!
You know your getting tired when you can't figure out why the spindles grown an inch

Oops swingarm spindle in the wrong place.
Your bike is coming along nicely. Very clean. Those front disks have a bit of wear but will most likely be good for while yet untill you can afford some nice ones. You can always measure them to see if they are within spec.

Well spotted Dark,it is indeed the swinger pin...
If you look closer at the disc pic you can see that the lattice has a ding in it,don't know if this will affect owt'

Re: BLUE bike refurb log
That is coming together very well, looking good
Chris.
That ding is in the disc carrier by the looks of it, it may have been caused by someone trying to ride off with a disc lock fitted. Not ideal to use it like that,TaxiDriver wrote: ↑Sun Apr 01, 2018 4:09 pm If you look closer at the disc pic you can see that the lattice has a ding in it,don't know if this will affect owt'

Its from Wemoto Chris,£64 inc vat.
I initialy bought one for £10 of ebay new, when it arrived it was about 3mm thick so pretty useless.
Its the perfect crime, they know you ain't gonna send it back at that price.....
Re: BLUE bike refurb log

Re: BLUE bike refurb log
Great morning spent with graham(taxidriver).
If we hadnt found one rear exhaust clearances out of range we would have had both tensioners fitted, but we got the front one done and graham knows what tappet shim he needs now.
The bike is looking great overall with some tasty mods to it.
Hopefully he will get the shim soon and we'll finish this bit of the journey
Top bloke and a really good morning, with another enthusiast
