Depends what you want to do and how you ride, one of each is probably the best option.

I agree with Max, but if you have to choose then: regular all weather commuting, touring, lots of town riding etc then its the Firestorm; Sunday afternoon blasts and occasional track day then its the SP. Plus the SP doesn't have the CCT problem!

You have to make your own mind up on the aesthetics.

Errr I think i best duck after this comment it depends how old you are aswell   im ducking im ducking :!: :!: :!:

Personnaly if i had the choice it would be the sp but i love my storm especially now with the mods i have done.

Remember its a race bike and was only built to take the wsb title from ducati which it did thats got tobe enough to buy one in my book although i always wanted a duke and still do :!:

gona go for the sp1 but there is 2 to choose from the normal red and black one,2000 w reg its a bit tatty with marks all over it but it does have a full akrapovic titanium system, carbon fiber air intake snorkel, ohlins rear shock, harris ajustable rear sets, power commander,g-pack limiter derestricter, and 133bhp i know the full history hasnt been down the road but the guy wernt that clued up on mechanics thats why it has a lot of marks,or there is a bulk std castrol honda paint job just with yoshimura cans on they are both around same price,i do ride fast and do track days so the first one would suit me just its a bit tatty

I'd go for the standard one every time.
First one sounds tempting, but its probably had a hard life........ Then again its unlikely anyone buys one of these without the intention of caning the life out of it!

Aaaaaahhhaaaa, another one moving over to the dark side! Welcome!

Bought mine a year ago and loved every minute of it. Swapped my firestorm for it and a wad of cash and have never looked back. Unfortunately i can't ride it at the moment but i have some entertaining videos to remind me what it is like.

You will love the power and the noise and you have got all the mods that need to be done to it. The best bit is when you take the fairing off and see the HRC stamped components, makes you feel like Colin Edwards!

Hello to everyone else!
