Hi Guys,

Just finnished reading an amusing article in PB where one of their guys goes over to interview him...

Just wondering, as british riders what your guys opinions on him are?

I only have a problem with the risk to others. Riding at that speed, an unlucky event could do a lot of damage or worse to somebody who didn't even know he was there. Even in his own words his worst nightmare is for something to happen either as a result of what he does, or by imitation.

He's toning down the high speed traffic stuff in favour of just as spectacular and impressive but safer for others stuff like the 8 minute Nurburgring Lap, and using spotters, road planning, timing and specially prepped bikes and roads for his newer stuff.

I do love his gear and bikes though... doesn't get much more goth than that :) I also own the DVD's and they're highly entertaining. Do I think he or anyone else should really do this? No.

Fortunately, most folks are intelligent enough to realise they'll die if they try.

As the story of the Pascal's "La Peripherique" run shows, it catches up with you sooner or later.

Well, I am not in UK, but anyway..
he is talented rider, but as I've read "Top of the Hill" by Irving Shaw many years ago later seeing Ghost Rider "public road" videos I realized that actually I do not like it. I prefer his track shows much more.

I have to echo everybody else, im not sure if i agree with what he does, but on the flip side of the coin i bet most of these forums break 100mph each weekend..

Hes definatly a talented rider, but i think i agree bluesman, track based stuff would be better, after all the starboyz have got that down! The problem with his track shows though are that as a stunter hes really pretty midway in my opinion!

I dont know about you guys but down here theres a very large road race culture with bets and slip races regularly at the local meet!
