bikini belly pan (stock item?)

the 'storm I picked up on Monday had an aftermarket bellypan fitted, which I just don't like the look of. the 'Storm, in my opinion, wasn't designed to be fully faired.

I took it off, and it looks much better, but was wondering if leaving the oil filter exposed like that is a good idea.

Lots of the 'storms I see in pics have a little 'bikini' belly pan fitted. Is this a stock item, or aftermarket?
Anyone got one, or know where I can get one?

it's a stock item.

I know a guy who has one if you want it, but it will need working on... it got painted with a chrome spray and doesn't look right. I'm sure if you're prepared to sand it and paint it, he'll let it go for a bargain.

Might be someone else who has a mint one though... we'll see.

feef, im REALLY after an aftermarket bellypan, i would swap my stock bellypan plus some cash for your aftermarket one if your intrested?

THe bottom of my bike is shagged and hiding it rather than replacing and cleaning sounds good!

sure, if you want.. one of the brackets is loose (doesn't affect it tho) and it's obviously used, but it's yours for a swap if you want.

I might of got a bit confused in this thread but feef if your up for swaping/selling your belly pan for the stock one could you let me know as otherwise im going to have the stock one sprayed and pay out for some braided lines!
