that was great racing for 2nd place ........... also fun to see the shock of the existing WSB top lads as they try and work out where the new Alien came from and why he is 1.5s faster than them 8O

hope the MotoGP skills and the MotoGP inspired Ducati V4 panagale combination is as good for Scott Redding when BSB starts later this month. I would like to see him shake up the podium

Awesome
In away it’s great to see Alvera doing so well after all those years of mediocrity in the Moto GP paddock. It’s great to see the talent for which he was entered for in the first place.
On the other hand, everyone else in the WSB paddock, especially Jonny Rea, is scratching their head wondering what to do about it.

Kawasaki have turned their engine up as far as they dare, still not enough.
I think that there will have to be another "adjustment" of the revs. Perhaps 500 will do it.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Kawasaki are not happy are they, but to be fair it's Bautista as much as the bike, as there are no other Ducati riders winning races in WSB or even close so far.

But maybe Ducati are getting their other riders to sandbag to avoid penalties so that Bautista gets a clear advantage.....

Nah!
If Chaz could come in first, he would. I can’t believe he would ever sandbag after trying so hard for so long

I think it's mainly Bautista, the bike maybe a little faster but not much. I've watched over and over and he opens the throttle a fair bit earlier than Johnny Rea. If you open it up earlier in te corner you'll be faster down the straight, the rider is making the difference. I guess in motogp he's used to leaning on the electronics more and has transferred it over to WSB.

I very much doubt that, but if that were the case and it ever came out, Ducati's reputation as a motorcycle manufacturer would be finished,
