Leather tank harness repair

Post by StormyRob »

Got this tank cover from Mac a little while ago. It had a slight issue as you can see

Anyway left it in to a leather repair shop recently and this is the result, having picked it up today

For the princely sum of £20 I was very impressed.
She re-riveted. Cushioned underneath so there is no tank scraping. She then changed both sides so it's more aesthetically pleasing.

A result in the end and very happy.
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

I can see how your nose will fit through the circular hole, but shouldn't there be eye holes and a grid covering your mouth?

Mac's replacement mask is a much better fit.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
