Once you’re in you can’t leave Mav! We need Watty to get back on here as well!

That’s going back a Bit. I’ve been on here so long the brain has turned to mush and I can’t remember what I did last week Image
It was Daz and Wayne who had the most tricked out Storms back in the day. Any photos of Wayne’s carbon fibre Storm still left in the archives?

Both of those bikes are bloody good looking, the fairing kits are very sexy...

Anybody know what happened to either of those bikes, got to hope they weren't broken and the good bits sold on, but there is always the risk that it would be the only way to get some of the investment back

I think things ended badly for Wayne heading for an early op Storm. I was looking at his bike a few years ago and followed his and a few others posts.

Thanks Al,
Well worth a looking at again. They were tricking out their storms before it was cool to do so. Both of them ahead of their times.
Wayne was one of the reasons I joined up. He was a heck of a character and I wanted to meet him and his bike.
Like Kev said, unfortunately that didn’t happen. On the way to the meet there was a terrible accident and he was killed leaving behind two small children and his wife. We didn’t know anything about it on the day.
If I remember correctly there was about fifty Storms at that meet and only half a dozen other bikes. MCM came and did a small piece on it. It was a quite a sight and sound as we rumbled out of town.
Like I said we didn’t know the bad news until afterwards.
He’s not forgotten

7 and a 1/2 years me.

Lots learned and lots more to learn.

Hopefully another 7 or more to go.

Hopefully I will still be able to chuck a leg over the VTR when the body permits as I will be 70 by then.

I have particularly enjoyed viewing some of the exchanges that have taken place on here.

There is a camaraderie on here that is wonderful to have experienced.
