The Firestorm - how long will it run as a current model?

Post by Nogin »

Hi All,
It struck me recently that we all own one of the longest running models Honda or any of the Japanese factories have ever produced (apart from the Gixer 750 which looks different every 5 years, and the Wing and HD's). Apart from that minor update in 2001 the storm is pretty much as it was in 97. We obviously know something that everyone else doesn't.....

They don't make 'em anymore! They haven't sold very well for a few years - my local dealer still has a new 2003 model for sale... The Storm doesn't appear in this years Honda brochure or on the Honda web site.

I've had 3 Storms - and hoped Honda would eventually bring out an all new model. Not sure what to replace mine with.

Badger,

Sounds a good buy, but just checked their website and it says £5499.

Ian,

I know thats what the web site says, but I spoke to them on Sunday and they are dropping the price.

The only problem is they want to give you crap money in part ex.

The've got 2 red ones and a blue one.

Ring 0121 506 6800 ask for Jason.

Badger,

Many thanks for the prompt reply. I guess you can't expect a top px price at the price they are selling new ones at. Just need to decide now whether I want a fourth new Red Storm...
