Who saw the race yesterday awesome..the maestro is back now his bike is sorted Rossi is just reelin Pedrosa n Capirossi in race by race.Great day and no rain

Me and the better half went on the storm to watch the qualy on saturday,
last chance to see the 990s on british soil .
The sound that they make is so so good , the suzuki wails like a banshee and the sound of the ducatis on the overun was like thunder ripping the sky , at one point all the diantin and factory ducatis came through the old hairpin together and my missis nearly wet herself

Prefer to watch the race on tv , have been a few times to watch on sunday and get to frustrated with the massive amaount of people and traffic

he he Pedrosa wasn't best chuffed with the smokin' Michelin was he.. I thought it was great...and this year has hardly been predictable

I did, a brilliant race, although I was hoping Colin Edwards could have finished higher after his previous effort at the last race

I agree with you Kaz about the F1, but not about Moto GP being boring, this season IMO has to be one of the most exciting ones for ages, with Rossi not running away with the tittle from the start of the season we have had some very interesting results from a variety of different riders

Also remembering Rossi finished 2nd after starting in 12 position and racing, still with a wrist injury

I got to agree with u i was expecting a borin season and was hopin Rossi would struggle to give the other riders a chance. Its turned out to be good one so far though i just hope the battles keep comin and Rossi doesnt run away with it again.

One of the reasons I went to Donnington was to see Rossi "live" before he decides to pack it in - and I wasn't dissapointed.

Until recently I hadn't missed seeing (and recording) an F1 race since about 1989. However its now so boring I've lost most of my enthusiam for it. Plus ITV have really dumbed it down. At least old Murray knew what he was talking about, even if he couldn't say it at times.

I think what might take it away from MotoGP is if they allow too much of the electronic stuff in - but its coming on the road bikes anyway.

The difference IMHO is that Schuthing is the best driver in F1 and has most money thrown at his car, close to the best, and the whole circus is run for him. Whereas Mr Rossi Sir has a completely crap bike and he just rides the wheels of it. Schuthing just isn't in Rossi's league in my opinion.
Also Rossi doesn't shunt his opponants of the track to win races or championships.

MMM I seem to remember Rossi (GENTLY) nerf Giberneau into the gravel last year in the interest of sportsmanship. It's a shame Doohan retired when he did that would ave been good racin, just like we were robbed when Senna was killed. He was the only one who would have kept up with Schummacher. There will always be one or two trully gifted riders or drivers..we shouldn't call them borin! Said my piece now I'll shut up...

I think the racing has been excellent... especially with the new boys Stoner and Dani Ped coming straight in from the 250 class and being right up there with the 'old boys'

it'd just be really nice to see someone else win the title other than Rossi.

fair enough.. he's been riding injured, and has performed quite well considering.... but I just think he's getting a little too big for his boots now !

I know many of you won't agree with me at all... but thats just my opinion

Oh, right Kaz, everybody's entitled to his or her opinion, we'll have to see how the rest of the season pan's out

I had forgot about the gibernau thingy

The kiddy pedrosa will make it a bit more interesting I hope, I'm unfortunate as I tend to watch for Colin Edwards as I used to think he was great in superbikes, unfortunately his style doesnt seem to work in motogp, even though he got close weekend b4 last. ( he always seems to be a really nice bloke as well )

rossi is the barry sheen of his day , baz was always looking to add a bit fun into the gp's as does rossi

now on the other hand have you ever seen such a sour puss as pedrosa's

he hardley cracks a smile and when he does get podiums all he does in the winners circle is talk to his gaffer about tyres or handling

what a boring ***t he is

rossi is entertaining absolute no doubt there

I went with my brother for the full weekend, 3 days of great entertainment!

Awesome, if you've never seen or heard a motogp bike flat out you don't know what you are missing!
To top the weekend off, after the last race of the day we walked round a part of the track and actually got into the pits, we had a really good look around. Then we saw a little crowd around a Yamaha team truck, had a quick look to see what was going on when Rossi came out of the back of the truck!
Couldn't quite get close enough for an autograph but I got a good pic!

Amazing weekend as always!
MotoGP is awesome, Rossi is a genius, all the riders are brilliant. But I do agree about Pedrosa, he should smile a lot more!!

Ooh, can we start that debate again??

IMO Gibbers left a stupid/ huge gap on the last corner# which Rossi went for.
The only reason for the contact was Gibby trying to muscle it out and failing
There were a lot closer overtakes on sunday but everyone accepted they'd been outbraked and dealt with it accordingly
