Throwovers

Post by stevieVTR »

Anyone any idea how to stop throwovers burning on my hi-levels?
Fancy a trip down to Italy this summer and never had the throwovers on anything that would catch the exhaust!!

Italy !!!!
Sounds nice. All those twisty mountain roads. How about a bike version of the Italian job?

Yep, been a long time dream of mine to ride down to Italy though with wife/kids before it has not been possible.
Intend to go to Bologna to the Ducati factory again and a bit of sightseeing before a blast over the Alps......... still not sure how Im going to deal with the throwovers though

I ended up having to change out my Hi-Level cans for low ones as i couldnt get even sports panniers to fit without them getting burned

Easy, don't put them on the back of the bike!!

I found putting them over the seat a better option, mine sit nicely under my knees and as I'm sat on the straps they cant move. They also put the weight move central and lower down too.

Try attaching some heat proof material on the inside of the throwovers.
