Do not run your tyres the wrong way round on the road
They have a reason for being directional and that reason is purely and simply the tread pattern
In the wet the forward motion of the tyre forces water
outwards and away from the tyre
If you run them the wrong way round then the water will be forced
inwards and cause potentially dangerous problems

However in the dry none of the above applies and if it means I get more life from a set of dry track only tyres then I'm game
