Broken lever replaced
Bar ends replaced
Indicator replaced.
Fairing scraped but ok
Exhaust scraped hanger bent.
Hanger now straight

Knees scrapped and bruised, but they have been worse!!


That's it folks, gut my nice shinny, loud fuel exhaust is dented, all within 500 yards of home.

Thanks guys. To think I was a tyre fitter 40 years ago so I should have know, but honestly its so stupid I kick myself
But could have been worse. Think I better get some weights to the bugger is heavier than you realise when it's on the ground

Unpacked the Carbonadi covers. Very nice. They are MUCH thicker in the important areas than others I've had.

Question for folks who've got them - did you bother cutting the holes for the timing hole bolt and crank bolt? I can mark and drill them but my timing is good and if I need to redo it, it can be done with the cover off. Same with valve clearances.

If you had asked him he would have cut the holes in them.I made the same mistake and had to drill them myself.

it was a lockdown #1 mishap before I had it MOT'd, so I was riding on by back lawn doing trials type, standup, slow, figure of 8's. used up all the steering lock and started to overbalance...... at that point you dont want to try and "take a dab" to save it, just jump off. so it had a nap on the grass.

no damage to bike, it has crash bars and handgaurds .... the lift up using the handlebars was going well, got it moving upwards and hoping to use a but of momentum to get it through past 45deg...... till the mirror stalk got caught up in my shorts so I had to put it down again

Washed Custurd, kicked the tyres, cleaned & lubed the chain + minor adjustment & topped up the oil.

Finaly got round to changing the broken R/H hanger on CJ Storm & whilst I was there connected up the brake light correctly, spring missing & the clevis that that connects the M/C to the pedal, as that, the other bit that holds it together with the split pin & a nut on the M/C rod were all missing...

Gave me boots a clean & silicone spray to the zip's & gave me lid & visor a good clean...

I've drilled three sets, then I nagged Adi to cut the holes for folk that asked nicely.

If you've already bought one with no holes-
You can use the engine case a guide to drill a centre hole from the inside.
I then used a - I don't know what it's called, but here's a similar one:
Generic Adjustable Metal Circle Hole Saw Drill Bit Cutter Kit 30-120mm Round Circle Hole Cutter for Counter Top or Door Black- Google it.

You have to resharpen it quite frequently!

The smaller hole can be cut using a drill bit.
