Hi guys,
I've just purchased an old VTR in stock condition, but the ex-owner gave me also a couple of fiberglass additional parts: a lower cowl and a rear fender.
Now...the point is...why should i fit theese parts on the bike?!
I find the rear fender quite ugly (maybe black it would had been acceptable...) and i cannot find the utility of the bigger belly-cowl.
What do you think?!
I would like to know your opinion...
Thanks

Re: Which is the advange of adding weight?!
The hugger would look better in black and has the advantage of keeping rubbish off of the shock etc. the belly pan is a question of taste. Some people love them, others not so much! I had a powerbronze on mine but reverted to the standard chin spoiler. Everyone to their own

I went through a phase of having both fitted, but like Kev have gone back to the OEM standard chin spoiler. I kept the rear hugger as I like it, plus as Kev's points out is more protection for the shock from what the rear tyre throws up,

Ok, i can see the point of protection...
Maybe i could try to wrap the hugger (i want to save the color...who knows...) and give it a chance....

nice big tank vtr . the parts really are for looks other than the hugger which keeps the crap of the rear of the bike.

It seems that most keep a belly pan on their firestorms?
