NWS Grab rail.SOLD

Post by AMCQ46 »

Sorting out my spares in the loft and I found my NWS grabrail from years ago. I have the Ventura rack system now which doubles as a grab rail, but this is much prettier.

You can fit the seat cowl with this still in place and it really suits the lines of the bike. It’s also great for strapping a big tote bag to the pillion seat.

Anyone who remembers NWS will know the made quality kit here in the UK including race frames, and the grabrail is to the same standard.

Will put it on here for a week before I open it up to the FB group.

£45 plus postage

Nice bit of kit...Cheap as well at that price.

Renntec rack or grabrail with fitting kit I'd be asking 40 to 50 quid over a ton new...

It's still a bargain at that price.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Trust Mac to feck up the price

I have fixed it for you now Al, you can't have different prices showing  Still a bargain as Tony says.

What I am having is a hard time to workout is how this grabrail is mounted exactly :?:

I know the Renntec grabrail/rack has a different set-up with separate brackets that fit in the ends of the seat sub-frame with a crossover member, but this one is obviously different :eh:

Thanks Chris, the saves later confusion.

Also glad you asked than question about fitting as I had forgotten it needed mounting plates that fit round the sides of the subframe!!!!

Went back through the boxes in the garage loft and found themImage

With the subframes it's worth £50...

Ah that explains it, no wonder I couldn't work it out, I even looked at the sub-frame on my Firestorm twice

Good luck with the sale Al
