what have you done to your "bike" today
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today I fixed the highbeam switch who used to get stuck almost all the time.
I even managed to find the little spring what pushed the Button back after it flew away in the garage. Small er than a bic pen spring

You're a brave man taking that apart
It sounds like it was worth doing though, well done
Chris.

Has anyone figured out what type of cheese they are made of?

Melted.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Took a spin upto the Jones ranch on Nue Red yesterday. Currently sitting in the sun surrounded by chooks, dogs & cats.
Had planned to swap back over the swingarm on 633 to a standard one after putting the braced one on last weekend @ GSVIII.2 but it's causing issues with the Jones big feet. As we couldn't safely get the bike up to get the swingarm off to do the transplant. General consensus is to do it at mine next weekend. Which will be GSVIII.4
So resorted to talking balldricks drinking beer & scoffing takeaway.

So GSVIII.4 took place yesterday got the swingarm swapped back over . That's the 3rd swingarm swop in the past month. Getting good at it. Took our time but still done in a out an hour. Also whilst waiting for Jones to turn up I stripped the pint off the lowers on a set of forks , painted them ready for...
Today I swapped the forks over on The Murvinator. Finally got to do some work on me own bike!

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
So took the
The Murvinator out for a spin. Glad to report nothing fell off or locked up. Did a healthy 40 + miles . Went to Maidstone J&S... didn't buy anything as didn't have my size...however they ordered it in & hopefully will be in Thursday.
Would you belive it...it only blinking rained on the way home! Well got spits on me visor for about 5 seconds but it still counts... roads were a bit wet all the way down Grain road so must of been a bit heavier.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Ordered a set of tyres for the Tuono, while still in the IoM.
Think they saw me coming, £540 fitted ...
Hopefully they'll be here for fitting Wednesday, I'll get them scrubbed in on the way to Devon.
