GrainStorm IX

Post by MacV2 »

Yes time to start saving for the bacon.

Due to me shifts & having the joy of working weekends I'm limited to dates.

Saturday 4th May is the earliest but that's Hank Boiliday weekend so I'm assuming some of you have a life & may have plans.

So the following weekend Saturday May 11th is the day to be in Grain in 2024 for the Ninth Edition of the award wining * workshopday.

* Forum awards winner...

2021's Partners in Grime... Frank... 38% of 13 votes

2018 Most Helpful Member. & the winner is. It's only bloody Frank !

2018's bestest multiple Storm owner over 7 Storms. That'll be me...

2019 Best weekend away with your Storming Chums. Another close vote & another draw...& the winner's are... The organisers of GrainStorm 2019 & OP Storm NI Take a bow.

I'll be there with a biscuit and the HP sauce.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Can’t come this year Mac, I have my 1st visit back to Sardinia since COVID stopped play.
:D
This time the Germans cant get hold of the 6 bike trailer that they used before, so I don’t get my free BMW S100RR to play on :(

so I am hiring a Ducati V4 MultiStrade to play on for a week. :D

I will go down to Gatwick on the KTM, leave it in the free covered motorbike parking and check in my oxford 40L dry bag, then get on the flight in my leathers and boots with the helmet as carry on luggage.

Get off in Sardinia and collect the Ducati at the airport, strap my bag onto it and head off to play in the sun on snaking mountain roads

Only thing that Grainstorm will have that I will miss out on is a good bacon butty, so save one in the freezer and bring it to Devon for me

I'll drop by, Mac.
I have a bit of electrical fault finding to do on the Tuono as the usb socket has stopped working. Of course, it means stripping half the plastics off to trace the wiring...

Good some work to be done that qualifies it as a workshop day...
