considering its age the wee motor is still pretty fresh inside Chris. just may aswell make sure to future proof it.

But, just to add to the list, its gona get new clutch plates, the matals are a little worn..
so as of now the list of bits
new clutch plates
new mains
new small ends
pistons and rings
all new gaskets including head gasket. ouch for yamaha prices
new main seals
gearbox seals
pushrod seal
plugs
gear oil
oil pipes
vent pipes, sexy pink ones
what surprised me really was the fact everything was on the shelf

Two-strokes... Twice the power strokes, half the time between rebuilds.

Fingers crossed all goes well on the second attempt Rob,
Chris.

Re: This winters project.
Same with mine, so I tend to put the barrels on but keep the heads off till it’s in the frame.
And I don’t have any water pipes, so mine should be easier.
