Yes but no... Start up cost are huge.... A van for starters, public liability insurance...Then the stock, advertising...

Even going back to a pest control company is more agg than it's worth...

So sometime in the next week or 2 I'll find out if I have a job offer or not.

Not sure I'll bother TBH. Basic maths shows that over a 28 day period. 4 On 4 0ff you do 16 days.

On the new 5 day Monday to Friday you do 21 days...For the same money.

Over the year that works out to 60 more days ... For the same money.

We have just been given a pay rise which pushes up the basic a bit.

But I haven't had the figures yet re deductions so don't know me take home after Tax NI & pension.

As no one will be on site on Sat or Sun but transporters will still be brining cars & vans* in I can see the Monday mornings being a sh1t show.

* They have a new contract to refurb Amazon delivery vans... So far about 10 have come on site & they are smashed to bits some have damage to every panel including the roof ! Our latest arrivals have the added bonus of bottles of HGV wine ... Nice.
